Mathematics and Physics, re-engineered.

From absolute zero to JEE Advanced, taught as the story of how every idea was found.

Sound familiar?

  • I know the theory, but I can’t solve the questions.
  • The solution makes sense. I’d never have found it myself.
  • I don’t know where to start.
  • The formulas just don’t stick.
  • My doubts get answers, never reasons.

Mathematics is usually taught as theorem, then proof. Physics is no different: formula, then derivation. Then a mountain of problems. You’re never shown why the idea was needed, how it came to exist, or what anyone was thinking at each step. So it gets confusing. Then boring. Then forgotten.

Cascade fixes this.

Everything is discovered.
From the ground up.

Every topic unfolds as a historical story, in class, in real time. Nothing is ever handed over as “this is a fact, learn it.” The proof is the discovery itself.

A scientist hits a wall.

Every topic begins as a real problem someone came across.

They try something. You hear exactly why.

Every step carries its reason: why this move, and not anything else.

A discovery.

Found in class, together. Never announced from the board.

A theorem is born.

You were there. So the proof isn’t a ritual to memorise. It’s a story you lived.

Try it

Discover one yourself.

Two real chapters from the course. Press and hold, and watch the idea get found.

Chapter 17 · Differential Calculus I · 1636 to 1872

What is the speed of an arrow at one single instant? No time passes, so no distance is covered. Speed becomes 0 over 0.

  1. Fermat, around 1636

He compares a quantity at x with its value at x + e, divides by e, then lets e vanish.

  2. Newton, 1665. Leibniz, 1684.

Infinitely small changes, written dx and dy. The derivative is born.

  3. Berkeley, 1734

Is dx zero? Then you can’t divide by it. Is it not zero? Then you can’t throw it away.

    “Ghosts of departed quantities.”

  4. Cauchy, 1821. Weierstrass, 1872.

The limit. Nothing is divided by zero, and nothing is thrown away.

f′(a)=limh→0f(a+h)−f(a)h

The derivative, exactly as you’ll write it in class.

That was one chapter. There are 48 more. See the full syllabus

Every move has a reason.
We call it an idea.

Behind each step sits the exact thought that made you try it. Two kinds of ideas run through the whole course.

Fundamental ideas

Intrinsic to the way humans solve problems.

  • F12 · MathematicsGood notation thinks for you.Leibniz’s dy/dx behaves like a fraction in the chain rule and in substitutions, which is why it won.
  • F10 · MathematicsAssume the opposite. When the direct route is hard, suppose the claim is false and hunt for a contradiction.
  • F11 · PhysicsChange the viewpoint.Look at the mirror from behind: the bent path becomes straight.

Constructed ideas

How to think inside one specific topic.

  • C17.1 · MathematicsCheck both sides.Wherever a formula changes (modulus, [x], a piecewise rule, a denominator), compute the left and right limits separately.
  • C12.7 · MathematicsCount the complement. When the good cases are messy and the bad ones are simple, subtract.
  • C4.8 · PhysicsSit on one body.In its frame, two moving bodies become one moving body, and chases and closest approaches become straight-line geometry.

Every idea has a number and a name, and it comes back whenever it’s needed.

Start from scratch.
Finish at JEE Advanced.

The entire subject in one unbroken line. No prerequisites, no gaps. Every problem set is discussed in full: every idea delivered, every doubt cleared, every tricky question taken apart, until you have absolute clarity over every corner of a topic.
